Music lovers from Beelen and the surrounding area were surprised by a special “open air” concert event.
Beelen (as). When Andreas Hanhart’s previous group, “Rockbusters”, performed in 2018 and 2019, the bear raged at Villers-Ecalles-Platz in Beelen. Performance was now at its peak again. While the square was still relatively empty at 7 pm, it was gradually being filled with more and more people of all ages.
The band “Twentyseven” started the evening with a slight delay due to congestion on the highway. In addition to singer and keyboardist Niklas Buchholz, Adrien Freiling also plays guitar, Tom Büllesbach plays bass and Paul Paust plays drums. With a varied mix of songs and enthusiasm, the band ignited the party atmosphere in Beelens Mitte.
When it comes to field technology, Andreas Hanhart came up with some ideas for optimal listening pleasure. The stage was aligned with the center of the square, so it was easy to create a huge semicircle around this fixed point with good visibility and distance. A roundabout with drinks and snack stalls were set up in the background. The security service and first aid were left without work.
Andreas Hanhart was celebrated: he brought the summit to Beelen. After the first performance, it was quickly rebuilt and “Vitamin D” could begin its performance. In addition to Andreas Hanhart, the band features singer Astrid Gernet, guitarist Andreas “Zappi” Zamojski, keyboardist Norbert Fechtelkord and Daniel Hermes (bassist). With “Vitamin D” a band entered the stage, whose music and show the spectators could really celebrate.
Andreas Hanhart, who brought an event of this kind to Beelen for the third time, was finally satisfied. The place was frequently visited. Pleasant outdoor conditions, neither too cold nor too hot, attracted countless people to Villers-Ecalles-Platz. Families with children did not miss this peak either, and the children enjoyed dancing to the music or simply sitting in front of the stage.
The citizens of Beelen came first, but there were also guests from outside. “It’s great that something like this is possible in Beelen! This has to happen. Finally a meeting place in the summer, “these were the comments that required a repeat.
The musicians met the audience’s taste with German songs. The mix of hits of past decades, German rock and pop music was chosen well. There was a “re-listening” with Fantastischen Vier, Peter Fox, Palatinate, Nena, Sara Connor, Glas Perlenspiel, Udo Lindenberg, Klaus Lage and Deichkind. But not only these highlights from the three-hour stage program “Vitamin D” inspired. As before Corona, the call for a new release was loud. The request to return next summer was addressed by Andreas Hanhart and his band.
Villers-Ecalles Square remained filled with enthusiastic music lovers until the end of the concert.
