Munich – The G7 summit in Bavaria has not even started yet – cars are on fire!
Shortly before the G7 summit, eight police cars caught fire in Munich.
All federal riot police team buses were on Main Street in the Gasteig Cultural Center in the Haidhausen district early Wednesday morning.

According to a police spokesman, they parked in their own parking zone – in front of the hotel, where the rescue services for the G7 summit were staying. Investigators, of course, assume arson.
The windows and body are stained and dirty
Shortly after the crime, the police searched for the perpetrators and the helicopter – unsuccessfully. Investigators examined a completely burned-out police van.
Burnt helmets lie on the street
Officials estimated the damage at six sites. No one is hurt.
The G7 summit is scheduled for June 26-28 at Schloss Elmau near Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
The Heads of State and Government of the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and Canada will meet under Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD).
