Nightclub in Norway – Two dead, many injured after shots in Oslo – News from abroad

Two people were killed and several seriously injured in a shooting at a nightclub in Norway, Oslo police said Friday night.

A video posted on social media shows paramedics in front of the gay nightclub London Pub in Oslo on Saturday morning at 1:15 p.m.

According to local media reports, ten people were hospitalized and 12 others were treated on the spot. Some of the hospitalized are said to be in critical condition.

The Norwegian newspaper VG stated that “according to witnesses, people were fleeing the place in panic”.

Another witness told the local media, “I saw a man with a bag come, pull out a gun and start firing.”

According to the English “Daily Mail”, at least 20 shots were reported.

Police detained the suspect on the spot.

According to the Norwegian NRK broadcast, there were at least three crime scenes. Police do not rule out that there may be more people perpetrators. However, this has not yet been confirmed. The incident is not currently classified as terrorist.
